To celebrate the friendly relations between Korea and Vietnam, the Korea Foundation Cultural Center is hosting Vietnam Week in September. We have many exciting events planned: The Vietnamese national costume will be on display along with the country’s traditional handicrafts and passages from Ho Chi Minh’s Prison Diary rendered in Korean calligraphy. Vietnamese performers will also travel to Seoul and nearby Goyang City to share their folk music and dance traditions with a Korean audience.

1. Exhibition of Vietnamese traditional costume and handicrafts
Opening Ceremony: September 5 at 3 p.m.

2. Calligraphy exhibition featuring Ho Chi Minh’s Prison Diary
Dates: September 5 through 15

3. Vietnamese folk music and dance performances
Wednesday, September 7, at 7 p.m. at Seoul Open Theatre Chang-Dong
Friday, September 9, at 4 p.m. at the Chongdong Theater
Sunday, September 11, at 4 p.m. at the Starsand Theater in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province
