The Korea Foundation invites you to ‘The KF Concert for Foreign Residents 2010 – Challenge & Evolution,’ which will be held at the Seoul Namsan Gugakdang in the Namsangol Hanok Village, Seoul, on Tuesday, June 29 at 7:30p.m.

This annual concert, which has gained popularity among foreign residents for presenting shows featuring Korean style and grace through traditional music or performances rendered in modern style, will this year be showcasing the talents of two female music groups. Both Piri (Korean style flute) player Ahn Eunkyung and group Miji inherit the tradition of Korean music, yet at the same time they are developing and evolving it with innovative modern influences and techniques.

On an early summer night, their soothing charisma and original melodies merging with Western classical and contemporary pop music will offer foreign residents of Korea unique and beautiful memories of an evening at Namsan Gugakdang filled with touches of Korean lyricism.

l If you wish to attend the concert, please make a reservation via email at eslee@kf.or.kr by June 23. www.kfcenter.or.kr, 02)2151-6520, 6513
